About Restaurant William:
In late 2021 it was announced that Murray's Craft Brewing Co would bring to life Restaurant William to join its beloved offering's on the Murray’s Estate in Bobs Farm and broaden the dining offerings on the property underpinned by a leading player in the craft beer industry. It is said in controversy that Beer is a better pairing match to food than Wine, it was our desire to challenge this very idea and cultivate a community to question the notion within a dining room of our own.
Led by Executive head chef Kumar KC and envisioned by the Howe family, Restaurant William redefines tailored hospitality. An immersive fine food culinary dining experience in Port Stephens, offering a new way for guests to enjoy first class food in a relaxed eco inspired environment.
Restaurant William is really an all encompassing culinary experience of fine food and handcrafted alcohol. The menu extended to our guests at Restaurant William is changing frequently as a result of what we can source from local farmers and producers with whom we work with intimately each week.
With Executive Chef Kumar KC sourcing the finest produce we collaborate with local producers and seek out rare and exotic ingredients working to our best efforts to maintain the majority of our ingredients from within a 100km radius of the Bobs Farm estate. The property's elevated dining offering features a reactive menu, dishes are composed depending on the daily availability of our local food growers and at the interest of our chef, Kumar.
This format seeks to challenge Kumar to create to the seasons and excite diners with an evolving offering to extend a fresh perspective with each visit.
It is with this principle in mind that all engagements within Restaurant William are also ever changing. Our wine program is highly left of Center. In your interactions at Restaurant William we take inspiration for the beverage experience from the famed tasting formats of beloved cellar doors across the globe highlighting artisanal alcohol producers. No wine list is offered. Our cellar features over 200 bottles of as many wine varietals as we can manage as well as Murray’s unique Beers and an extensive range of boutique international spirits.
On your visit we seek to intrigue your pallet, get to know your preferences and offer tastings of extraordinary crafted alcohol from talented boutique producers in Beer, Wine and Spirits. Whilst you may rely on our wine list it is also your choice to share with us your beloved tipple and we will bring to your table a selection of alcohol which you might otherwise not had the opportunity to try for you to taste and guide you to select a beverage pairing that will compliment your menu of the day. Bringing to the table an engaging and interactive dining experience unparalleled amongst our industry colleagues.
You may find that on each visit much like our dining rooms at home our table scape is different, new serving ware is showcased to suit the flavours on the plate or the works of local artists are alive on our walls.
